Athletes InterVarsity Staff
Jason serves as Director for Athletes InterVarsity – Upper Midwest (SD, ND, MN, WI, Upper MI). He also serves on the National Athletes InterVarsity Leadership Team and Campus Ministry Staff at the University of Wisconsin at River Falls. He has been in collegiate ministry for 25 plus years. Born and raised in northern WI, he now lives in River Falls, WI with his wife, Tina. His favorite sport is hockey and has a background in football and track & field. Enjoyed years of coaching his kids in hockey & track & field. Recent hobbies are figuring out golf, playing ping pong with neighbors and participating in the life of his family
Melissa serves as the Regional Athletes InterVarsity Campus Ministry Coach for the Upper Midwest region. She also serves as Campus Ministry Staff on the ground at University of Wisconsin Stout (and University of Wisconsin Eau Claire?). She has been working in collegiate ministries for 10 plus years in a number of different capacities. Melissa is married to her husband, Ryan, and they’ve been on many adventures together including living overseas for a number of years. They have three boys together (four if you include their dog). In her spare time, Melissa enjoys exploring new terrain with her boys, spending time with friends, meeting new people, and playing ultimate frisbee competitively
Isaac serves as a Campus Staff Minister with Athletes InterVarsity in the Upper Midwest Region. His main roles are coaching student ministry on campus, empowering student athletes in outreach bible studies on teams, and developing/managing athletic ministry resources for the region. Isaac’s current main campus focus is at Edgewood College in Madison. WI. Isaac and his wife Holland are both on staff with InterVarsity, and they and their 2-month-old son Levi both recently moved to Madison, WI to be closer to family and participate in ministry. Before moving to Madison to transition into new Focused Ministry roles, Isaac and his wife served with InterVarsity on campus at UW-Eau Claire for 6 years and UW-Stout/CVTC for 1 year. In their free time, they enjoy biking, hiking, enjoying new foods, and reading.
